About Us
NLP Creations was founded with the mindset of producing the highest quality NLP and self help training that could be offered. Training and coaching is created, produced and delivered by our in-house team of experienced NLP trainers.
Our founder members are:
Ben Dowman (Lead trainer) has degrees in Psychology and Mathematics and is a qualified and experienced teacher. He is an NLP Trainer, Hypnosis Trainer and Coach and is also a qualified Teacher and consultant. He offers training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis and coaching skills as well as working 1-1 with individuals to help them change, grow and improve their lives.
Ben’s career in training, coaching, teaching and personal development span’s 12 years in a variety of contexts. He started work developing people using outdoor adventurous experiences to help young people and increase self-confidence , self-reliance and grow a sense of self. He trained as a teacher and taught in school for a year before returning to outdoor development training working with young people and adults. Ben then worked increasingly with corporate groups using a mixture of training, coaching and facilitation of experiential development to help individuals succeed.
In his free time Ben likes Rock Climbing, Swimming and Cycling and is also involved in Theatre having been acted in a number of productions ranging from the Wizard of Oz to Treasure Island, plays by Alan Ayckbourne and a number of comedies.
Richard La Ruina (Managing Director) has been a full-time dating coach since March 2006. In that time he has trained over 1000 individuals at live events, published a best-selling book on the subject, and been featured in over 50 television shows, newspaper articles, magazine features, and radio interviews including ITV, Channel 4, BBC Radio, The Times and The Evening Standard. This followed a background in marketing, finance, and psychology. Richard has become a recognised authority by developing his own theories of dating and relationships that have been proven in the real world - taking individuals with no luck and transforming them into people with complete control over their love lives. Proven time and time again in the real world, these theories go far beyond what is commonly taught by other life coaches and books on the subject. He gets great pleasure from seeing someone make dramatic changes in their lives and this is the reason why he is still very much hands-on with training.
